“Leftovers.”

During my trip to Cyprus I was totally engrossed in a book called Leftovers by Stella Newman, which ended up being one of the best books I’ve ever read. It was absolutely hilarious and true to Amazon’s description: ‘A novel about friendship, hope and the power of pasta.’ I also couldn’t help but feel like the main character blog-running, food-loving Susie was my best friend.

Not only has Stella Newman managed to write an amazing book but somehow she is also a superwoman who manages to run 4 blogs. Leftovers ends with some pasta recipes, one of which is also featured on her pasta blog: pastafriends.blogspot.co.uk which is what I’ve made here. Each pasta type and sauce is related to an emotion in some way and this one is called ‘pasta for when you’ve just finished a book that you enjoyed and there’s a little hole in your life to fill while you ponder what to read next’ and the recipe is here (it’s also in the back of Leftovers which I suggest you go and buy right now from here).

I thought I’d try something new instead of the step by step pictures. I don’t know if anyone actually makes any of these recipes but if there is anyone (please let there be someone) let me know which you prefer.
